CEMA reported that it’s October 2021 Billed Sales Increased by 39% Compared to 2020
Naples, FL. — The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its October 2021 Booked Orders decreased by 47.73% when compared to October 2020 Booked Orders. October 2021 Booked Orders decreased by 60.13% compared to September 2021 Booked Orders. September Booked Orders had increased 6.15% compared to August 2021 Booked Orders.
October 2021 Booked Orders for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 4.58% compared to September 2021 Booked Orders. October 2021 Booked Orders for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 67.49% when compared to September 2021 Booked Orders.
CEMA’s October 2021 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 39.91% compared to October 2020 Billed Sales. October 2021 Billed Sales decreased 8.27% compared to September 2021 Billed Sales. This contrasts with the September 2021 increase of 5.68% when compared to August 2021.
October 2021 Billed Sales for Bulk Handling Equipment increased 3.80% when compared to September 2021 Billed Sales. The Bulk Handling increase follows a 2.84% decrease for September 2021 vs. August 2021. October 2021 Billed Sales for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 10.60% when compared to September 2021. The Billed Sales for Unit Handling’s decrease compares to an increase of 7.50% for last month (September 2021) vs. August 2021.
