CEMA STANDARD #407 – JUST RELEASED

October 28, 2015

CEMA’s Unit Handling Section has released their newly updated CEMA STANDARD #407!

This CEMA Standard’s purpose is to establish certain minimum standards for use in the design and application of Motor Driven Live Roller Conveyors.

MDR Conveyors typically can be set-up to the speed best suited for the work being performed, and in some cases variable speeds can be used. They are used where unit loads are allowed to accumulate, typically with no load to load contact, causing blocked line conditions, as a pace setter for assembly operations, for loading on and off, or for transportation.
