CEMA’S 2024 Engineering Conference returns to the beautiful Naples Grande Beach Resort.

The Naples Grande has received numerous awards as a result of its dedication to providing a memorable stay for every guest.  In addition to being honored by Tripadvisor, US News & World Report, Travelocity, Booking.com, and more, they received a Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award in 2023, are designated a Green Lodging Florida Resort, and the Spa was recently selected as the Best of Gulfshore 2022:

• • 3 pools to choose from, including one with a 100′ waterslide and a family-friendly beach-style entry, one exclusively for adults, and one for laps and water aerobics;
  • 3 miles of powdery, white-sand beach nestled in a 200-acre Mangrove Sanctuary, with al fresco lunch and refreshing drinks available from Rhodes End beach bar & grill – check out their live beach cam;
  • exceptional facilities for tennis and golf;
  • outstanding fine and casual dining options, with more a short walk or bike ride away at Waterside Shops; and of course
  • The Spa & Salon at Naples Grande.

The Engineering Conference rate is $249 per night

• Includes 1 or 2 adults in a standard room.
• Children under 18 years of age stay free in the same room with their parents.
• A charge of $25 per day will apply per additional adult above 2.
• Maximum occupancy is 4 people per room.
• Room tax is 11%.

CEMA will make your reservations.  No payment for the hotel is collected at this time; you will supply a credit card at check-in for your hotel costs.  The Conference Rate is also available up to 3 nights in advance or following the conference, subject to room and rate availability, if you wish to extend your stay.

Interested in upgrading from a standard room?  There are 2 options:

1. 1. Guarantee an upgrade by selecting one on the registration form and paying a higher rate, as follows:
      • Signature Gulf View Room (floors 12-18) = $50 extra for $299 per night – details
      • Garden Villa Suite (more space, not a Gulf view) = $150 extra for $399 per night – details
      • If your chosen upgrade is not available, Karen will reach out to you with options.
   2. Request an upgrade by noting your request on the registration form. Requests are not guaranteed; depending on availability at check in, your request may be able to be accommodated.

A Resort Fee will be added to all Room Rates:  $40/room/night Reduced to $10/room/night, before tax.  Includes:

• • 1-800/local calls,
  • high-speed WIFI in the guestroom,
  • two bottles of water in the room,
  • bicycle rentals,
  • 1-hour beach kayak or paddleboard rental,
  • beach towels and luxury chaise lounges,
  • range balls and use of driving range at Naples Grande Golf Club (which is off-site),
  • 24-hour access to the fitness club and weekly fitness classes,
  • newspaper in the lobby, and
  • 10% discount on tennis court fees and weekly resort activities.

Parking Options, all plus tax:

• • Self-parking – $20 Reduced to $10 per day
  • Valet parking – $30 Reduced to $15 per day
  • Event parking (for non-hotel guests) – $10 per day

CANCELLATION POLICY:  You must cancel hotel reservations by 4:00 pm three (3) days prior to your arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax.

CEMA’s 2nd Annual Beer Tasting

Monday, June 10  |  5:30 – 9:30pm

Back by Popular Demand:  This year we’ll visit the only brewery located within the Naples city limits.  Riptide Brewing Company is 100% family-owned and fiercely independent, encompassing the Southwest Florida lifestyle with a passion for craft beer.   As they like to say, “Good brew, family, friends, community and fun:  Life is good at Riptide!”

You’ll be picked up at the hotel at 5:30 and travel to the Riptide, where you will each enjoy a beer flight – four pours of some of Riptide’s most popular brews.  Next up is a pint of your choosing – one from the flight, or another of the many choices, including ciders, wine, and their own hard seltzer — while enjoying delicious food from Cosmos Ristorante.

You can choose to purchase additional beverages before re-boarding the trolley at 9:00 to head back to the hotel.
