CEMA reported that it’s May 2021 Booked Orders increased 23.87% when compared to May 2020 Booked Orders!

NAPLES, FL. –The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its May 2021 Booked Orders increased by 23.87% when compared to May 2020 Booked Orders. May 2021 Booked Orders increased by 6.40% compared to April 2021 Booked Orders.

May 2021 Booked Orders for Bulk Handling Equipment increased 11.98% compared to April 2021 Booked Orders.  May 2021 Booked Orders for Unit Handling Equipment increased 4.22% when compared to April 2021 Booked Orders.

CEMA’s May 2021 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 53.11% compared to May 2020 Billed Sales. May 2021 Billed Sales decreased 1.98% compared to April 2021 Billed Sales. This contrasts with the April 2021 decrease of 16.50% when compared to March 2021.

May 2021 Billed Sales for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 7.43% when compared to April 2021 Billed Sales. The Bulk Handling decrease follows a 6.60% increase in April 2021 vs. March 2021.  May 2021 Billed Sales for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 0.91% when compared to April 2021.  The Billed Sales for Unit Handling’s decrease compares to an decrease of 19.91% for last month (April 2021) vs. March 2021.
