NAPLES, FL. — The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its June 2021 Booked Orders decreased by 41.86% when compared to June 2020 Booked Orders. June 2021 Booked Orders increased by 66.47% compared to May 2021 Booked Orders.
June 2021 Booked Orders for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 6.78% compared to May 2021 Booked Orders. June 2021 Booked Orders for Unit Handling Equipment increased 97.30% when compared to May 2021 Booked Orders.
CEMA’s June 2021 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 35.65% compared to June 2020 Billed Sales. June 2021 Billed Sales increased 4.48% compared to May 2021 Billed Sales. This contrasts with the May 2021 decrease of 1.98% when compared to April 2021.
June 2021 Billed Sales for Bulk Handling Equipment increased 8.54% when compared to May 2021 Billed Sales. The Bulk Handling increase follows a 7.43% decrease for May 2021 vs. April 2021. June 2021 Billed Sales for Unit Handling Equipment increased 3.73% when compared to May 2021. The Billed Sales for Unit Handling’s increase compares to a decrease of 0.91% for last month (May 2021) vs. April 2021.
