NAPLES, FL. — The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its July 2021 Booked Orders increased by 108.88% when compared to July 2020 Booked Orders. July 2021 Booked Orders decreased by 13.19% compared to June 2021 Booked Orders.
June 2021 Booked Orders for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 5.92% compared to June 2021 Booked Orders. July 2021 Booked Orders for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 14.64% when compared to June 2021 Booked Orders.
CEMA’s July 2021 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 46.11% compared to July 2020 Billed Sales. July 2021 Billed Sales decreased 10.63% compared to June 2021 Billed Sales. This contrasts with the June 2021 increase of 9.91% when compared to May 2021.
July 2021 Billed Sales for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 3.97% when compared to June 2021 Billed Sales. The Bulk Handling increase follows a 8.54% increase for June 2021 vs. May 2021. July 2021 Billed Sales for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 11.90% when compared to June 2021. The Billed Sales for Unit Handling’s increase compares to an increase of 10.18% for last month (June 2021) vs. May 2021.
