NAPLES, FL. –The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its February 2021 Booked Orders increased by 35.21% when compared to February 2020 Booked Orders. February 2021 Booked Orders increased by 18.07% compared to January 2021 Booked Orders.
February 2021 Booked Orders for Bulk Handling Equipment increased 8.90% compared to January 2021 Booked Orders. February 2021 Booked Orders for Unit Handling Equipment increased 22.20% when compared to January 2021 Booked Orders.
CEMA’s February 2021 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 39.47% compared to February 2020 Billed Sales. February 2021 Billed Sales increased 22.78% compared to January 2021 Billed Sales. This contrasts with the January 2021 decrease of 11.47% when compared to December 2020.
February 2021 Billed Sales for Bulk Handling Equipment increased 112.89% when compared to January 2021 Billed Sales. The Bulk Handling increase follows a 11.02% decrease in January 2021 vs. December 2020. January 2021 Billed Sales for Unit Handling Equipment increased 12.89% when compared to January 2020. The Billed Sales for Unit Handling’s increase compares to a decrease of 11.56% for last month (January 2021) vs. December 2020.
