CEMA reported that it’s December 2020 Booked Orders decreased 40.78% when compared to December 2019 orders!

NAPLES, FL. — The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its December 2020 Booked Orders decreased by 40.78% when compared to December 2019 Booked Orders. However, December 2020 Booked Orders increased by 38.16% compared to November 2020 Booked Orders.

December 2020 Booked Orders for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 7.58% compared to November 2020 Booked Orders.  December 2020 Booked Orders for Unit Handling Equipment increased 52.69% when compared to November 2020 Booked Orders.

CEMA’s December 2020 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 16.52% compared to December 2019 Billed Sales. December 2020 Billed Sales increased 20.77% compared to November 2020 Billed Sales. This contrasts with the November 2020 increase of 0.14% when compared to October 2020.

December 2020 Billed Sales for Bulk Handling Equipment increased 13.72% when compared to November 2020 Billed Sales. The Bulk Handling increase follows a 20.78% decrease in November 2020 vs. October 2020.  December 2020 Billed Sales for Unit Handling Equipment increased 22.36% when compared to November 2020.  The Billed Sales for Unit Handling’s increase compares to an increase of 6.47% for last month (November 2020) vs. October 2020.
