This is the final call for registration for the 2022 CEMA Fall Meeting which will be held September 20-21, 2022, a Tuesday through Wednesday schedule, at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel.
Attending the Fall Meeting will qualify your company for the 25% Meeting discount off the membership dues.

THE DEADLINE FOR HOTEL RESERVATIONS IS:
AUGUST 26, 2022!
To encourage member companies to send more than one representative, CEMA offers a reduced registration fee when more than one representative attends from the same company. The Early registration for a first representative will be $450 (the regular registration fee is $500) and $400 per additional attendee from the same company (the regular registration fee is $450).
The Early Registration fee is not available after the Early Registration deadline of August 19, 2022, whether or not you need a hotel reservation.
CEMA will coordinate your room reservation request with the hotel. The Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel is located right at the airport. You are able to walk from the terminal into the hotel.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m., checkout time is 12:00 p.m. A 17.4% local room tax will be added to your bill.
SOMETHING NEW THIS YEAR… A full breakfast (to include scrambled eggs, bacon, and breakfast potatoes) will be added to the Wednesday schedule! The room where the breakfast will be set up is small but close to the meeting rooms for the 7:00 a.m. meetings. There will be seating for 14 people. Feel free to make a plate and take it to your 7:00 a.m. meeting. There will be coffee in the breakfast room as well as the meeting rooms. If you plan on eating breakfast, please check the box on the registration form so that we can have an accurate headcount for the breakfast.
RESERVATION DEADLINE
All room reservation requests must be received by CEMA no later than Friday, August 26, 2022. After this date, the block of rooms we are holding will be released. We cannot guarantee room reservations after Friday, August 26th.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that you must cancel attending the meeting, a substitute from your company may attend in your place. To receive a refund of the registration fee (less a $100 service charge), please notify us of your cancellation in writing no later than noon on September 1, 2022. No registration refunds will be issued for cancellation after that time.
Please inform CEMA headquarters if you need to cancel your room reservation. Those canceling a room reservation less than 24 hours of their arrival date will be charged a cancellation fee by the hotel equal to one night’s lodging.

CEMA Summary Of Meetings
Engineering Planning Committee
Chair: Naylu Garces, CEMA
-Purpose: Plan details for next year’s engineering conference, discuss this past year’s performance to determine if changes need to be made to the schedule.
-Value: Provide you as a company the opportunity to discuss any additions or deletions you would like to see, along with being a part of determining what your engineers will be working on.
Meetings Committee
Chair: Jerry Heathman, Precision Pulley & Idler Co. (PPI)
-Purpose: Provide a mix of business and social events to maximize networking opportunities at CEMA meetings. Recommend meeting venues and speakers for the Board of Directors to consider.
-Value: Create a program to enhance the meeting experience by providing increased value to all attendees. Review prior programs and adjust program content as needed.
Membership/Marketing Committee
CO-Chairs: Jimmy Swiger, Martin Sprocket & Gear; Paul Dent, Osborn
Vice-Chair: Mike Nisenbaum, CEMA
-Purpose: Membership – Bring relevant conveyor equipment manufacturers and technical companies into the CEMA organization.
Marketing – Create interest and intrigue of potential new members. Drive Sales and distribution of CEMA Publications and Standards to the conveyor market.
-Value: Learn about who our industry consists of and contribute to the integrity and growth of the overall CEMA organization.
Conveyor Chain/Sprocket Section
Chair: Jeremy Fogo, PEER Chain; Vice-Chair: Dan Fannin, Regal Rexnord
-Purpose: Provide the most current chain information available within the industry and represent all types of conveyor chains, i.e. drag, engineered, plastic, wire belt, etc.
-Value: Develop a standardized and effective ability to identify chain products and chain conditions that best fit the needs of member organizations and end-user application requirements.
Joint Screw Conveyor/Bucket Elevator Section
Chair: Johnny Wheat, 4B Components, Ltd.; Vice-Chair: Craig Abraham, Screw Conveyor Corporation
-Purpose: Provide the most current up-to-date information for the industry through standards, technical reports, best practices, and address any current industry needs.
-Value: Be involved in a section that is working on industry standards (i.e. 300, 350, etc.), technical reports, best practices, and bringing value to the screw/bucket elevator conveyor industry through engineering efforts.
Conveyor Systems Integrators
Acting-Chair: Mike Nisenbaum, CEMA
-Purpose: Provide the opportunity to discuss the “voice of the final customer” to Manufacturing and Technical members so that CEMA can address “pain points” and be of better service to the Conveyor industry.
-Value: Bring together Manufacturers, Technical and Conveyor Systems Integrators in implementing “best practices” to end users and provide a forum for system installers to improve safety, cost, and statistical reporting.
General Bulk Handling Section
Chair: Paul Ross, Douglas Manufacturing Co., Inc.; Vice-Chair: Randy Webb, Syntron Material Handling, LLC
-Purpose: Provide the most current ‘Business and Labor Trends’ in the conveyor industry and provide direction to other CEMA sections.
-Value: Be involved in a committee that is reviewing current industry trends and providing direction to other working sections.
Unit Handling Conveying Section
Chair: Derrick Shelton, Ralphs-Pugh Co., Inc., Vice-Chair: Rich Kosik, Itoh Denki USA
-Purpose: Provide the most current discussion on the ‘Business and Labor Trends’, and additional industry-related topics for this portion of the industry.
-Value: Development of standards & technical reports addressing topics that are affecting this portion of the industry.
Government Affairs Committee
Chair: Tamara Thimmel, Bryant Products
-Purpose: Provide you with Legislature and Bill activity that affect our industry and provide CEMA (our members) with a voice for our concerns.
-Value: Having active involvement in the Bills that are being presented to Legislature.
