CEMA Statistics Memo February 2022

 

NAPLES, FL. — The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its February 2022 Booked Orders increased by 38.27% when compared to February 2021 Booked Orders. February 2022 Booked Orders increased by 13.23% compared to January 2022 Booked Orders. January 2022 Booked Orders had decreased 18.43% compared to December 2021 Booked Orders.

February 2022 Booked Orders for Bulk Handling Equipment increased 8.48% compared to January 2022 Booked Orders. February 2022 Booked Orders for Unit Handling Equipment increased 15.11% when compared to January 2022 Booked Orders.

CEMA’s February 2022 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 5.54% compared to February 2021 Billed Sales. February 2022 Billed Sales increased 9.97% compared to January 2022 Billed Sales. This contrasts with the January 2022 decrease of 17.84% when compared to December 2021.

February 2022 Billed Sales for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 4.04% when compared to January 2022 Billed Sales. The Bulk Handling decrease follows a 6.98% increase for January 2022 vs. December 2021. February 2022 Billed Sales for Unit Handling Equipment increased 13.57% when compared to January 2022. The Billed Sales for Unit Handling’s increase compares to a decrease of 22.46% for last month (January 2022) vs. December 2021.
