you want to join,

The letter must include
a request to join as well as three copies of your product literature
relevant to CEMA membership qualification.
Your
request wlll be submitted to the CEMA Membership Committee. If they
approve you will be sent an invitation to join from Phil Hannigan.

All members of the conveyor manufacturing industry, as
hereinafter defined, who have had a presence within North
America (United States, Canada, and/or Mexico or their
possessions) for at least one (1) year, shall be eligible
for manufacturing membership in the Corporation. For the
purpose hereof, presence shall mean selling conveyor components,
equipment, or systems in North America manufactured by
the manufacturiong member. A manufacturer shall be deemed
to be a member of the conveyor manufacturing industry
if its principal business, or the principal business of
one of its divisions, is either:
(a) Controlling the designs, specifications, assembly,
and manufacturing of unit or bulk material conveying equipment
or systems, or
(b) Designing manufacturing and selling any of those bulk
belt conveyor components for which the Corporation maintains
reporting statistics. or
(c) Designing and manufacturing those component parts
which by reason of their unique nature are primarily capable
of usage as component parts of unit conveying equipment
or systems or
(d) Designing manufacturing and selling pneumatic conveyors
automated monorails, automatic guided vehicles, conveyor
controls, or any combinations of same, including both
equipment and systems.
CEMA
Manufacturing membership dues are computed on the basis
of each member company's volume of Billed Sales (shipments)
for the average of the two preceding calendar years. Dues
are expressed in "cents per $1,000 of average annual
Billed Sales" for the two-year base period. The CEMA
Manufacturing Member Dues Rate is 42 cents per $1,000 of
average annual Billed Sales for the two-year base period.
Currently,
Dues are discounted 50% for timely reporting of Booked
and Billed Sales Statistics
In
2008 Dues will increase 5% and will be discounted by 35%
for statistics reporting and 15% for participation in
at least one scheduled CEMA meeting per year.
In
2009 - Dues will be discounted by 25% for statistics reporting
and 25% for participation in at least one scheduled CEMA
meeting per year.
